Day I Met the Prince

M1 Chinese Theatre Festival 2016

Date:21 July - 31 August 2016

Venue:Practice Space

Sing along with the Little Prince as we traverse the universe!

Only for you the star means something very special.
For you know that among all the glittering lights up there,

there is one where the Little Prince lives, with a rose, and a goat.
And they are smiling at you.

Late theatre doyen Kuo Pao Kun adapted French classic The Little Prince into this lively and interactive performance for the children. Let the melodious tunes lead you into the mystical universe of the Little Prince. Join him in search for a way to protect his one and only rose!

This July, the creative team comprising Kuo Jian Hong, Xiaohan, Julian Wong and Mark Chan invites children and adults alike to reunite with the Little Prince and be touched again by this timeless classic.

The most important aspect of an arts education for a child is its integration within culture itself. Culture sets forth the foundation on which a country is built upon: its direction, pathways and values. The education of arts and culture very much emphasizes the development of character.
