••••••••••

Legend has it that there existed ninety-nine beasts which would wake up from a long deep sleep and lead the world to its darkest age. Then a hero would rise among the villagers and embark on a torturous journey to pursue and kill the beasts.

After killing the last and the most ferocious beast, however, the hero would be faced with the most unexpected twist to his fate…

In the ancient and tumultuous days, there existed a myth about the “strange beasts” which caused damage to the village. For the sake of his fellow villagers, Asi shouldered the task to eliminate the ninety-nine beasts.

However, the esteem and respect the villagers held for him eventually transformed into fear. They suspected that Asi was the mysterious hundredth beast and began to fear and avoid him, and to the extent of doubting his power. Unaware of the villagers’ change of attitude towards him, Asi embarked on his journey to kill the beasts. One by one, he managed to find and eliminate the beasts. Finally he came face to face with the King of the beasts. They started a fierce battle. Strangely, as they were fighting, the enmity between Asi and the beast gradually disappeared…

Our theatre should aspire to objectively critique life, respectfully entertain audiences, and forever explore new uncharted territories. Based on this basic consensus, we shall debate among ourselves vigorously as we support each other loyally.
