The wee Question Mark and the Adventurer

M1 Chinese Theatre Festival 2015

Date:9 - 19 July 2015

Venue:Flexible Performance Space @ LASALLE College of the Arts

“Once upon a time, a young city boy embarked on a dangerous journey across the seas on his wee sail boat to look for his father…. Despite the odds against him in the treacherous seas, he pushed on, made new friends and fought off foes in the forms of magical dolphins, ferocious pirates and hungry savages!”

Featuring the creative team that brought you the well-loved children’s musical Day I Met the Prince, and hit musicals If There’re Seasons…, Lao Jiu: The Musical, Liao Zhai Rocks!, The Theatre Practice’s new wee musical is told (and sung) through delightful songs and music penned by popular lyricist Xiao Han and composer Julian Wong, and directed by Director Kuo Jian Hong.

Join the wee Question Mark and his friends in this nautical adventure that will submerge young audiences in the magic of theatre, in a musical about finding courage in unchartered waters and discovering why we should never stop asking why.

Our theatre should aspire to objectively critique life, respectfully entertain audiences, and forever explore new uncharted territories. Based on this basic consensus, we shall debate among ourselves vigorously as we support each other loyally.
