Corporate Training Workshops

There are four corporate training workshops that you can choose from.

  • NEGOTIATE Lah!
  • TALK Lah! 
  • UPGRADE Lah!
  • CHIONG Lah!

Each workshop’s size is intimate (approximately 25 pax on average), and can be conducted in English, Mandarin, and even dialects.

Number of hours required for each workshop varies, depending on your needs. A minimum of 8 hours per workshop is suggested.

Summary:

How do you manage conflict on a day-to-day basis? Are there strategies to manage the emotions that arise when a conflict of opinions occurs? Working with Honorary Professor John O’Toole (Griffith University) as our Project Consultant, this workshop harnesses process drama techniques, such as role-play to help employees gain an insight into conflict management. 

Specifically, this workshop aims to:

  1. Present a cognitive understanding of conflict  
  2. Develop the participants’ sensitivity, awareness and understanding of self and others, thereby enhancing team cohesion
  3. Provide a safe and constructive environment for participants to integrate these principles in their interactions with their co-workers, thus improving the overall quality of the work environment

How do we break the ice and work together in a new environment? Through a carefully curated session of fun, theatre games and conversations of course! This workshop utilises beginner strategies of storytelling as the platform for new colleagues to get to know themselves, as well as their new team members in a relaxed and safe environment! 

Specifically, this workshop aims to:

  1. Introduce beginner strategies of storytelling; how to communicate clearly and confidently with each other, as well as in a group setting 
  2. Develop the participants’ sensitivity, awareness and understanding of self and others, thereby enhancing team cohesion
  3. Build bonds of trust amongst new colleagues 

If you are looking to:

  1. Improve overall hospitality in frontline staff, who have some background in storytelling/persuasive speech
  2. Improve group dynamics within the team  
  3. Equip employees with skills to manage difficult customers/scenarios/situations

Summary:

How does an actor prepare for performance? These strategies are applicable beyond the theatre. In fact, they are especially useful for frontline staff who have to deal with customers on a daily basis! This workshop harnesses the fundamental traits underlying an actor’s role for every performance, to help frontline staff gain a more in-depth understanding of themselves, their co-workers, and their customers.

Specifically, this workshop aims to:

  1. Introduce intermediate strategies of storytelling; how to use the body and voice to communicate clearly and confidently
  2. Develop the participants’ sensitivity, awareness and understanding of self and others, thereby enhancing team cohesion
  3. Guide the participants to rediscover the meaning of communication, both verbal and non-verbal cues
  4. Provide a safe and constructive environment for participants to integrate these principles in their interactions with their co-workers, thus improving the overall quality of the work environment

If you are looking to:

  1. Introduce advanced strategies of storytelling for employees in leadership roles, such as Middle and Senior Managers

Summary:

What does it mean to be a leader? Practice believes that leadership is about one’s ability to empower the self and others! And drama is the perfect medium for this. Through drama-based exercises, participants can critically examine imaginary “real-life scenarios”, hence allowing them to accept, analyse and articulate. This workshop harnesses the immersive nature of theatre-making, to help leaders experience multi-perspectival and innovative thinking and therefore, gain a more in-depth understanding of what their work entails. 

Specifically, this workshop aims to:

  1. Introduce advanced strategies of storytelling; how to develop a compelling and dynamic stage presence 
  2. Develop the participants’ sensitivity, awareness and understanding of self and others, thereby improving one’s ability to lead a team
  3. Provide “real life scenarios” in a safe environment for effective problem-solving to occur
