Architecture is an all rounded discipline that is not just about building but a means of improving the environment and people’s quality of life. It incubates humanistic and poetic hearts with technical minds and environmental consciousness. We develop a new breed of future-ready architectural designers and technologists who can meet t he growing demand for multi-disciplinary applications in the built environment and resilient characters with a heart to make our world a better place. This course is a partnership between two schools, our School of Design and School of Engineering. This holistic course integrates both the creative and the logical to give students a sound grounding in purposeful architectural design and capability in advanced technology with appreciation in traditions and vernacular wisdom to create and execute ecological architectural and urban interventions, as well as the competency in green and sustainable design services with grounding in the industry’s statutory requirements. Graduates can expect exciting career opportunities in the built environment industry such as architectural designer, architectural technologist, BIM coordinator, construction manager, place-maker, and urban designer. This education will also serve a solid foundation for all other creative endeavours which the graduate wish to pursue in future.
