What is Practice looking for?
In-person works that are small in scale, but big in ideas. We’re talking about performances, workshops and experiences that break away from our traditional expectations of what theatre is. Most importantly, we’re looking for our partners in play!
All works will be presented at Practice (54 Waterloo Street), Objectifs – Centre for Photography & Film or the P7:1SMA studio space (Stamford Arts Centre). Depending on the work, the actual presentation venue will be discussed and mutually decided by the artist(s) and Practice.
All works will also need to adhere to the latest NAC guidelines for Arts and Culture Advisories.
How do I submit my proposal?
All application forms and supporting documents must be submitted to [email protected] latest by 17 May 2021, 5pm (GMT+8).
There is no application fee. Late or incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
What will the selected proposal receive?
VENUE SUPPORT*: Various spaces within Practice, Objectifs and P7:1SMA will be made available for your use during the creative development, rehearsal and presentation process.
PRODUCTION AND EQUIPMENT SUPPORT*: If we have it and it is available, you can borrow it! Our production team will work closely with the artist(s) for the purposes of the presentation.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT: We offer a project stipend depending on the project format.
ADDITIONAL SUPPORT: If you need a sounding board, a different perspective, or just someone to talk about your process, the Practice team is here to help. Lean on us!
