48 hours of frantic writing + 6 hours of non-stop rehearsals and development = ???
More than a writing exercise, Playwrights’ Bootcamp is the ultimate test of craft and creativity. Three Chinese-language playwrights are challenged to produce a script in two days. The finished works are given to three directors, who will work with actors and sound artists to bring them to life online.
There’s just one catch… the playwrights cannot communicate with the directors until AFTER the works have undergone the ultimate test: the audience’s scrutiny.
