Rashomon

A warrior and his wife are ambushed by a bandit in a bamboo grove. The warrior is slain. His wife, raped. A hundred years later, at the ruins of the Rashomon, a medium calls out to the lost souls.

Will the truth be revealed?

Based on the classic short stories of Ryunosuke Akutagawa, characters in Rashomon present varying accounts of a rape and murder that occurred in the bamboo grove. This tale of suspense is a thrilling insight into the subjectivity of one’s perception.
