The Nursery Rhymes Project: Imagine Our Songs
The Nursery Rhymes Project: Imagine Our Songs presents a re-invention of classic children’s nursery rhymes in the form of a mini jukebox musical featuring short stories deftly crafted by Mandopop lyricist Xiaohan, and arranged by local leading musician Julian Wong. Brought to you by the creative team of award-winning children’s musical The wee Question Mark and the Adventurer, and Day I Met the Prince, The Nursery Rhymes Project: Imagine Our Songs will have children humming along to classics like The Little White Boat, and The More We Get Together. We hope that their childhood will be dotted with fond memories of the Chinese language.
Conceived by The Theatre Practice’s Artistic Director Kuo Jian Hong, The Nursery Rhymes Project: Imagine Our Songs is more than a performance. It is an innovative approach to help children embrace the Chinese language at a tender age. Be it in a classroom, or right inside your living room, this high-energy, interactive show invites you to sing, dance and groove along!
