Wanderer-Seeker: A Trek Around My Room

How do we lead a carefree life? Many spend a lifetime pondering over this.

Enclosed within the hectic bustle of the city, do you find yourself trapped in the never-ending routine of the daily grind, unable to break free?

Zhuangzi was an influential Chinese philosopher, and author of classic text Zhuangzi, which consists of a plethora of abstract fables examining the issue of freedom in life. Wanderer-Seeker: A Trek Around My Room relooks at the tales from Zhuangzi to devise a series of sketches, while creating a dialogue about the absurdities of urban city life and modern existence, questioning whether man can really be “free”.

Journey with Liu Xiaoyi and Huang Suhuai as they present a playful, yet provocative approach towards this modern-day dilemma.
